As the first woman of African and South Asian decent to hold the office of Vice President and to run for the President of the United States, Harris represents a significant milestone in American politics. This project leverages her prominent public figure to delve into the rich diversity of black hair culture. By reimagining Harris with these hairdos, it sparks a dialogue on the intersections of race, politics and personal expression, encouraging viewers to reflect on the cultural significance of hair and its role in shaping identity.
